Graham Swordfish Diamonds - A Sugar-coated Serious Piece Of Kit.

Graham recently released a new diamond set addition to their Swordfish collection.  Even though this is a ladies piece, Graham London do not do dainty.  This one has a more than ample 46mm steel case, plenty of space onto which flawless Top Wesselton stones are set.  On the dial an abundance of diamonds also encircle those fugley but fabulous loupes which serve as 30 minute and 12 hour counters and those out-size Roman numerals and the hour markers are also be-jewelled.

Yes, yes it has a girly sprinkle of sparkle, but do not be fooled this piece is only sugar-coated.  Inside is the G1710 automatic bi-compax chronograph movement (the same one that the big boys get in their Swordfish collection) with incabloc shock absorber and 48 hours power reserve and is therefore a serious piece of kit.  On the case side the pushers have grippy Clous de Paris texturing and the crown is inscribed with the company's brand name.

Three editions of the Swordfish Diamonds are available, black, grey or white dial, each presented on a matching croco strap.  Of course this is not the first Swordfish jewellery watch released by Graham.  Already in the portfolio are the Swordfish Lucy and the Swordfish Snow White both presented on highly usable and cleanable rubber straps (perfume, make-up and tan-proof)  The ultimate Spangled Graham Swordfish?..... that would without doubt be last year's aptly named Swordfish Ali Baba limited edition, a spectacular spectrum of diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires pictured here in all its glory.

...............but the outsize Roman numerals on the new Swordfish Diamonds piece are particularly fetching, as seen on the grey dial edition below
